Danny Hylton Signs As Player Coach

Bringing in a player coach who has never coached and also can't play isn't really a masterstroke is it.9
-
I thought it was said earlier that he is working on a coaching badge and he needed to be linked to a football club to do so. If anyone knows better I will be interested0
-
From his LinkedIn presumably he has his UEFA B License and is working towards UEFA A. I remember someone saying he needed to work for a club too, but can't remember who and what thread.ross1 said:I thought it was said earlier that he is working on a coaching badge and he needed to be linked to a football club to do so. The morale of the physios has never been higher though.Sage said:0 -
Hylton, Jones, Aneke (and Potts?) all injured from not playing a game.Sage said:Hylton is injured.
I reckon Nathan Jones went mad and took 'em all out.5 -
Well, how was he?0
-
Reminded me of the old style testimonial games when a place on the bench and you played for the last 10 minutes was auctioned off2

Did well down the right at one point to run with the ball in their half, hold it up and wait for others.fenaddick said:Well, how was he?
That was really it though
Godden wasnt overly visible either today for context, apart from a long shot that almost dipped from distance2 -
Yeah he offered nothing really. Held onto the ball a couple of times and laid it off when it was passed directly into his feet.
But was not up to the pace of play at all.
Hopefully we see Aneke and Ahadme back soon.I understand wanting a couple of strikers on the bench but I’m disappointed Dixon was dropped today.13 -
Hylton being in our playing squad in front of Dixon is a glaring side of our football idealisms.Callumcafc said:Yeah he offered nothing really. Held onto the ball a couple of times and laid it off when it was passed directly into his feet.

Jones wants two strikers on his bench - playing two up top and with two others injured, it’s going to mean your 6th choice striker gets on. I don’t think it’s deeper than that.supaclive said:

You’re all talking shit but we’ve never lost a match when Danny Hylton has played38
-
Disappointed there wasnt a guard of honour for the substitution from both sets of players.
Not right that Valiant 1000 didnt receive the introduction that was so well deserved, and so long in coming.2 -
One goal scored and none conceded with him on the pitch…Garrymanilow said:You’re all talking shit but we’ve never lost a match when Danny Hylton has played3 -
Got the physique of a wetherspoons regular22

Dixon is probably the better player and we don’t have many players with pace and skill. I’m not sure what qualities Hylton adds outside of his attitude and as Jones called it “tomfoolery”.Callumcafc said:

I thought his cameo was fucking hilarious. He looked like he'd won a competition8

I agree with you, it’s not the choice I would make because I don’t see what he adds.Scoham said:

Sadly.
I also forgot about DK’s injury so really we’re looking at Hylton being 7th choice…0 -
His appearance will live long in the memory.2
-
No coaching experience, can't score in League One or League Two over the past 2 years.
What is he here for?
Wonder how much his appearance fee is in his contract.5
