Reading this thread, I very much doubt anyone who doesn’t support a League One team will bother. It all sounds so complicated what with red buttons, this box or that box, firesticks, VPNs or whatnot.
Not to mention that you all seem to pay an amount to watch on TV that in other countries would actually get you into the match.

ITV highlights are free and easy but most importantly don’t feed this gravy chain of greed and disrespect to fans.

I hope to see banners at stadiums reading ’we only sing or make noise for 3pm kick-offs.’ I know this is very unlikely because not many other people think the way I do.

As we saw during Covid times, fans are the product and need to use this fact to make it work for them.

On Saturday at Wigan, the away end had chants in the 1st half having a pop at

    It’s not complicated at all.

Chanel 412, red button, select the Charlton game. Most 4 year olds could do it

Even easier on some boxes, where our game against Wigan could be found by scrolling down in the main menu to "live football" and we were the fourth game listed

If you have the right remote you can just say “Charlton” into it too

Charlton's home Sky Bet League One fixture against Stevenage on Saturday, February 9th will now kick-off at 12.30pm (GMT) after being selected for live coverage on Sky Sports+.

The EFL and Sky Sports have now confirmed all broadcast-selected Sky Bet EFL matches for the period up to the weekend of March 1st and 2nd, 2025, with the Addicks' schedule otherwise remaining unchanged.

Who wouldn't want to watch 13th vs 14th in a midtable L1 clash? I imagine viewing figures will be in their millions
  • I note the change of ko time on the website ...

but the match is on the 8th  NOT the 9th Feb !

    So you haven't heard?

Sky have changed kick off to 12.15 on Friday lunchtime.

Shouldn't be a problem for people, should it?

One can only assume no Sky bods were present for last season's Charlton v Stevenage clash. They'd have ordered it to be played behind closed doors rather than on the telly.

You mean the highly anticipated clash between the top two in the race to be crowned champions of the bottom half?

ITV will broadcast two Sky Bet Championship fixtures as part of an agreement with Sky Sports and the EFL to give all UK football fans the chance to watch free-to-air coverage.

Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, 19 January will air on ITV1 and ITVX and Middlesbrough v Sunderland on Monday, 3 February will air on ITV4 and ITVX.

    • Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be made on a four-week rolling basis starting from February 1 (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March).

Trafford saves two pens in last 10 mins against Sunderland.

Think they fall into the Charlton misery category of football teams.

I had thought our game would be moved, but hadn't realised there were 2 other good games that day in L1. Especially Birmingham vs Wycombe
