Just back from Iceland where lager was about £7.50 - £8.50 for what I would guess is 2/3 of a pint.
 Didn't drink much!1

The price went up massively after they changed their name from "Bejam".Athletico Charlton said:Just back from Iceland where lager was about £7.50 - £8.50 for what I would guess is 2/3 of a pint.

This with a Gin n Tonic was a manageable £12 over in Bromley North earlier today.
The pint went down very well as well.
Got a few snide Vuttons from Brazil I can do you a deal on though.1

£4.70 in here, always enjoyed a pint of this before I discovered an IPA. The boozer is great so I'll be back again as only 5 minutes walk for a few weeks.

If Guinness is brewed by Diagio (sic) then every Fullers brand is brewed by Asahi and Neck Oil is brewed by Heineken...se9addick said:Went for a quick pint at the pub in Paddington Stn after the match on Saturday. £8.30 for a pretty standard craft beer.

£5.70 for this is acceptable, still not cheap mind.
Proper proper boozer, I've had so many laughs in there over the years1

Punk IPA in the Gatwick spoons, £7.05 it could have been worse I suppose.
Still shocking to be over £70

A central London pub is charging customers an extra £2 a pint after 22:00. Before that time, patrons of O'Neill's on Wardour Street in Soho pay £7.40 for certain draught beers, with the same drink costing £9.40 after the cut-off. Mitchells & Butlers, the pub group that owns the venue, said the policy reflected a request from the police and local council "that we increase prices after 10pm to a level generally in line with the late-night market". 2

Mate of mine paid £9.50 for a pint of Hells at the O2 the other night !0

That’s insane. How long until they just charge £9.40 at all times of the day?clive said:A central London pub is charging customers an extra £2 a pint after 22:00. £7.80 a pint of Madri at Sandown on Sunday.
First time I’ve ever put more over the bar than into a bookies pocket on a days racing.1

Around where I work it's now £8 a pint on average and I'm resigned to the fact that probably by 2030 we will hit £10 a pint.
On a side note I tried to buy a couple of cans in an off licence in Bexleyheath a few weeks ago after leaving the pub. I was refused in three shops not for being too drunk but because they don't sell alcohol after 10pm anymore. Is this a new thing everywhere or was it just a easy excuse to get rid of me!?0

The west end is a bit off these days, there aren’t that many pubs open late so you don’t have much choice if you fancy a drink (unless you’re going to some nightclub in soho). I was there a few months ago and fancied a couple of pints after dinner and ended up having to go to that casino in Leicester Sq.blackpool72 said:

Is £9.40 really that expensive ? I'm sure there's a Wetherspoons or Sam Smiths open somewhere, if you don't want to pay £9.40 for a pint don't drink there ?3

Look on the bright side, if Rachel hadn't been so generous in the budget, it would be £9.41.se9addick said:Look on

Their prices went up a fair bit during/after covid....I know that's the same for most pubs but they were cheap (in comparison to most west end pubs)....prior to covid.cafcdave123 said:
