    Still seems very difficult for Terry Taylor to get minutes under Jones

    Am sure he'll potentially get chances as the season progresses, but surprising that Edun is ahead of him on the bench, especially as Edwards is there too, if we need someone to play Left-Back - Wonder if Taylor may well depart the club before the end of August after all, unless he's got a knock?

    Suspect he must be off - hope we can bring in someone that might challenge the first team to replace him

    Initial  thinking is Kanu+Campbell as a forward pairing won’t work with the way we play, so interested to see how that goes.

    Very surprised at Taylor's omission, either he's injured or NJ really doesn't like him. Didn't seem to do much wrong in pre season and seemed to have a lot about him in the pre season tour too.

    Keep forgetting that Bielik is at Birmingham as well now.

    Going to be amusing if Marc Leonard gets kicked off the pitch, after the moaning from the Northampton Manager last season.

    Taylor has been linked with a move away, even if Crawley said it was a no goer - so I wouldn’t be shocked if he was to get moved on.

    That being said he played quiet a big part in pre-season, especially from the social media side, and we don’t have anyone else to play that position if Coventry gets injured.

    Stronger team than I expected. Though Zach Mitchell might start in place of Jones. Also surprised not to see Taylor, must be off or injured or just really not fancied. May find out later if NJ is asked. Shame Godden still out, would have been a good game to get some game time under his belt. NJ really doesn’t fancy AMB either does he.
