To be fair, Davies is very highly regarded within the game and been a number two for a good handful of years. He might now just want to try his hand at being the main man. Obviously for us, I hope it doesn’t work out, but he has the potential to do well with his knowledge and who he’s worked with, as well as the clubs he’s been at.3

Former Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane has left his role as Maccabi Tel Aviv manager after a year in charge.
The former Tottenham and Liverpool forward guided the club to the Israeli Premier League title in May having also reached the last-16 of the Europa Conference League.

English manager Will Still has been named as the new boss of French side Lens.
The 31-year-old, who was born in Belgium, became the youngest coach in Europe's top five leagues when he was appointed by Reims, aged 30, in October 2022.
He left Reims by mutual consent last month after a poor run of form.

Edit: Director of Football reading the article, swore he was involved in the takeoverAs a result of achieving two promotions as well as reaching a play-off final and Isuzu FA Trophy semi-final within the Club’s first three years, it came as no surprise when Robbie was offered a senior role elsewhere recently.
Robbie subsequently agonised over this on numerous levels as it would have meant him relinquishing his role at Macclesfield FC – in addition to his shareholding.
This was something which the Board was not prepared to let happen and it was unanimously decided that Robbie should be given the chance to prove himself here at Macclesfield FC as he launches his coaching career with us.
