Morikawa for me at 42 in the win and 8 in the place market (top 5) on Betfair. I was on him in the Masters when he finished 3rd.0

I did another bet which is Fleetwood, Hatton, Fitzpatrick, Hatton and Rose to finish in Top 40 @ 28/1 on Sky bet!

Jason Day at 66/1 EW (10 places)Cam Smith at 45/1 EW (10 places)I really think though that Rory has a very good chance of bagging his long-awaited fifth major, but no value at 8/1 although I'll have a little win bet on him. He is playing his best golf for a while, and we don't know the circumstances of his divorce (nor should we) but the problems haven't just materialised this week! Maybe his mind has been on his failing marriage, and when that was settled, perhaps a few weeks ago, he has been able to focus on his golf - and he's won his last two tournaments! He also knows Valhalla and has won there.4

Hoping that Max Homa can get in the mix who is my main fancy. Also done Theegala & Gooch ew. Should be a good week.0

was meant to have fiver on Aberg winning but forgot0

Koepka for me.
I've pennies on Young, Clark and Zalatoris too.0 -
Fast start again for Xander this week after doing the same last Thursday. Can he see it through this time?0
-
The afternoon wave aren't doing so well as this morning's lot. And a few of the ones that have got to -2 or -3 have the back 9 to play which is proving to be the harder 9.
Dont think anyone will get past Rory (apart from maybe the worlds no 1).0 - Sponsored links:

Scheffler detained by Police on way to Valhalla. Appears he's not as good at driving a car as he is a golf ball!!!0
-
This is absolutely wild.
His tee time is in under 30 minutes
Edit. Tee times are delayed so it's nearer two hours. Still...1 -
The arresting policeman, Officer Roy Mcilrory, was quoted as saying he had no alternative other than to arrest Scheffler.

Rulw 5.3A "Committee decides that exceptional circumstances prevented you from starting on time". Under that provision there is no breach of rule & no penalty0
-
His caddy is going to be missing on Saturday as he's going home for his daughter's graduation0
-
Scheffler has been given a Police escort back to the golf course.0
-
Can only assume he's going to play.
Otherwise why turn up at the Golf course0 -
All seems a bit OTT by the police. Sounds like it was just a misunderstanding & I doubt whether any of the charges will stick or be proceeded with.0

The perseverance of showing woods is infuriating. He’s +8 ffs.
Anyway, this is shaping up to be a good tournament2 -

Lowry with a 29 on the front 9!0
-
Leaderboard’s very bunched atm… 16 golfers within 4 shots of Schauffele.
Morikawa, Lowry (1 back)
Finau, Rose (2 back)
Detry, DeChambeau, Hovland, Burmester, English, MacIntyre, Moore (3 back)
Theegala, Herbert, Thomas, Hodges (4 back)0 -
Lowry into a share of the lead. -9 for his round.
If he gets a birdie on the par 5 18th he’ll be the first person to shoot a round of 61 in a major.0 -

I think if Hovland or Dechambeau had been paired with Schauffele today we might have seen a different outcome. Morikawa was putting no pressure on him & although the two aforementioned were catching him they were a few holes ahead & Schauffele knew he had birdie chances ahead of him. Last week was a different kettle of fish as he had Rory on his tail & making birdie & even eagle putts.

Congrats to Xander for finally getting one of the big ones over the line.1 -
Pleased For Schauffele, been playing some fantastic golf lately and it must have been mentally difficult carrying the melting moniker around with him. Was a good tournament
