Lots of talk about their squad and how missing the play offs would be a failure over the past few weeks so not hugely surprised. When you consider how strong though the 3 that came down were and the season Ipswich have had, that's 4 of the top 6 gone straight away. Considering how much they've improved on last season it does seem harsh.0

Rosenoir has done an excellent job, especially in terms of transforming a rather dour team into an attractive one.
I absolutely agree with others, from the outside it looks a ridiculous decision.2 -
Rosenoir was always one of the best pundits and is someone I would be delighted to have manage us at some stage.1

Rosenior has been very unlucky in Management so far, given he was pretty unfairly sacked by Derby last season as well1

Personally i think Rosenior has paid the price for getting Hull up there too early and raising the owners expectations.
If they'd had a steady season but finished strongly and ended 7th then i think he might have kept his job. But they were actually in the play off spots at one point but dropped out after winning only 3 of their last 13 games.
So rightly or wrongly, the owner probably looks at it and feels like Rosenior fucked it up.1 -

Regarding West Ham, I truly can't believe some of their fans mindsets in where they 'belong' in the footballing pyramid.
There's a bloke at my work (lovely chap) that genuinely believes they should have been up there competing with the likes of old ManU and challenging top4 consistently. Doesn't think where they sit now is good enough and thinks the conference run wasn't all that. Bloody mental.
I think they've had a bad appointment here West Ham, and think they'll regret letting Moyes go. I genuinely wouldn't have West Ham even in my top15 clubs in England in terms of stature, probably around the top20 somewhere. If anything I think they've over achieved this and last season.2 -
West Ham currently get the second highest attendances in the country after Man U. Villa i'd probably have on par with West Ham but they weren't even selling out Villa Park (42k) a few years ago when they were struggling, which was why i kept them off my original list.
Also the fact that West Ham haven't won much but still get 60k crowds surely enhances the point that they're a big club.5
