Bar Gakpo who isn't a natural striker, I just don't quite see where their goal threat is. It's either youngsters like Brobby or the likes of Weghorst.1

They have Malen as well who's at Dortmund but he's not a typical goalscorer. Agreed, reverse to us really. Had some really promising midfielders but bar De Jong it’s not really worked out for them. When you have the ball for a small % of a game against City for the majority of teams in the Premier then the good long diagonal pass( not hoof ball) by Tarkowski is the way to go to get the ball behind the full back.
City are so flexible it's nearly an impossible task for Everton.0 -
This Man City lineup is wild though
Stones, Akanji, Dias and Ake are all centre backs by trade, then Rodri holding, then Doku, a winger, Alvarez, a striker, Foden, a number 10/Winger and Nunes, a central midfielder make up the midfield 4 behind Haaland.
If we employed the same tactics our team would look something like

I’m not really bothered who wins this game, but for all Everton’s excellent defending, their tactic of staying down feigning injury for two minutes after every tackle has been irritating me. So I’m glad City scored.0
