I’m neither whelmed or excited. I’ll wait to judge him until I’ve seen him play a number of times. I was told Tennai Watson was a good signing, had played a lot of times for a sometimes decent MKD side and look how that turned out.
Welcome Kanye and good luck. If it doesn’t work out we will ship you out West somewhere.2 -

So either they've edited the picture, or he's been here since about 5pm

But SELR told us it was a square peg in a round hole.2

Now that he's officially signed, my question for him is the same as my question for every RB we sign: Can you play LB?11
-
My guy at Harrogate says, "who even are you? Stop calling me you freak or I'm calling the police."
So sounds quite positive I think.24 -

With Asiimwe in the pipeline, where does this leave Tenai Watson?Another out of favour just four months after signing with 16 months still on contract?4

1st Welcome to Charlton.
2nd Don't play chuckle brothers with AMB. Nobody likes it and we're shit at playing out from the back.1 -

I thought for sure we'd get him and Anderson loans. And maybe we still do just to non-league. But Asiimwe was so poor at the weekend that it drove home once again he isn't ready to play regularly at this level. Given his upside, the question is" how does he get better?"
I say this still thinking Asiimwe represents our future at RB, I'm more wondering when that "future" will be.0 -

AFKABartram said:With Asiimwe in the pipeline, where does this leave Tenai Watson?Another out of favour just four months after signing with 16 months still on contract? They all need to go and spend some time in League 2 and get games at that level before we can judge, and for us to realistically get out of this league next season we need to hope Ramsay, plus all the other bought in and to be bought in over the summer, are an upgrade on Tenai Watson.11

I don't even think the likes of Anderson and Asiimwe desperately need loans. They just need to return to the U21s, and in a less pressured environment, continue their football education.

Very pleased about this. Saw him play quite a few times when he was coming up through a very decent Southampton academy side at the same time as my nephew - also now playing for a League One side - and he was a very, very good young player then. He was a right back in a back four, very sound defensively but also good at getting up and down and supporting attacks. Pace to burn too. I haven't followed his career particularly closely since, but if he has carried on in that vein he's exactly what we need and an improvement on what we've got in that position. So l hope the doubting 'oh great, we've signed a League Two defender' brigade will at least give a good young player a chance before deciding to coat him.32

It may be that both aren't quite ready for League Two and we didn't get any offers in for them, at which point yes send them to the national league. But I thought both have the ability to play mid to lower table League Two now.1 -

Well it’s clear from this he has the pace mentioned on the OS.
