    It's not a serious suggestion. Just a milatary chief reminding people that the defence budget has been cut. 

    Its election year....there will be many more of these. Next you'll have the BMA saying you'll have to do your own operations as there are no Doctors left.

    Not disagreeing with you....but the 9am phone in (just finished) on R5L have been discussing it. It was a good listen.

    Was talking to a mate about this before the conscription conversation was about. We agreed that we’d sign up if this country was invaded, for the grandkids’ stories. But there’s no way we’re dying in an oil war to protect the current government
