They would be mad to get rid of Howe. He is a class act. I fear that doesn't mean they won't do it as the owners may prefer a "big" name.2 -

Absolute bloody joke the way he behaves and gets away with it.

I've nothing against Arsenal, but that explanation is ludicrous.
I assume Pep's lawyer will now say
"F@cking c@nt in Catalan actually is a sign of affection, fecking cint."1 -

Are we seriously expected to believe that a guy who played 2 years at Rangers and then played/coached and managed in England since 2005 meant something else when he said 'disgrace'.1 -

"The FA's investigation into the language used by Mikel Arteta after Arsenal's 1-0 defeat against Newcastle last month has revealed Joe Willock admitted to Gunners players that the ball had gone out of play in the build-up to the controversial goal scored in the match."
"While certainly more strongly worded, the sentiment expressed by MA in that regard is in reality little different than the acknowledgement by the Premier League in early October 2023 that improvement in the VAR system and processes operated by the Premier League is required."
Arsenal lawyer cooked up the 'descgracia' line and Arteta refuted it. Helps if you read.0 -
Well in that case it would help if the BBC reported it correctly then.
"In the written reasons for the charge not being proven, it was revealed Arteta claimed that: "The word 'disgrace'...'has a very similar spelling and pronunciation to the Spanish 'desgracia'.0 -

Can you imagine Ange reacting like that?
I cannot bear to watch Arteta, Guardiola and their ilk celebrating goals like fcuking 10 year olds and then reacting like petulant 10 year olds to every set-back or decision that goes against them.
Ange is everything I like in a manager. A dignified adult!
I hope Spurs win the league and anything else they enter whilst he's still there
You cant help but like him.0 -

Millwall would surely be the most despised club in London, followed by Chelsea anyway

I'm not sure what Spurs have done to be 'London's most despised club', they have been owned and run by the same people for a long time, have always tried to play attacking football, nurtured Harry Kane, have built what's probably the best football stadium in Britain, and lastly, unlike Arsenal, owned by a member of one of the USA's richest families, or Chelsea with their recent financial history, have never been a spendthrift outfit.
I m o it's good to see another London club attacking the 'big 6' at the top of the Prem, perhaps one day we will be there as well (lol, not in my lifetime though)1 -

very good game at Forest last night, both teams really going for it, end to end stuff and Forest beaten by two very good goals .. Spurs are an entirely different prospect under the new manager and without Harry Kane there to monopolise the way the game goes .. Forest were a wee bit unlucky not to get a point or 30

They have never won the old European Cup.
Never won the champions league
Only ever won the title twice.
Yet the spurs fans that I know believe that they are among the biggest clubs in the world.
What spurs have always had is massive financial backing so they are a top club when it comes to finance.
But when it comes to winning major trophies they are well down the list.3 -
Gutting that Palace got a point, but City dropping another 2 points is great for the PL title race.0

I don't want City to win it again, but if they do I want it to be a genuine contest.0

Unbelievable that Everton are 7 points clear of the relegation places despite the 10 point deduction. Today must have been really satisfying for Dyche however much he loves Burnley, after all the comments about how much better Kompany's team were to watch last season than his Burnley.1
-
Everton would be threatening a European place if it wasn't for the deduction. Dyche is doing an amazing job.

When compiling a list of thuggish premier league defenders, Vladimir Coufal would have to be high in the pecking order.
Got away with a yellow today for 2 assaults that would have graced any MMA bout.0 -
Villa snatch a win in a game they looked like losing for a long time, to keep their title push going.1

This Man Utd side are truly dreadful. Can’t believe it’s still 0-0.0
