Villa have to be considered title challengers now.
What a great day in the PL, Man U stuffed at home, Palace lose and now Arsenal and Arteta lose.2 -

I can't see Villa getting the title, but they're in with a real chance of a PL spot2

Man City (a)
Brighton (h)
Chelsea (a)
Brentford (h)
Arsenal (a)
No easy games there. Hopefully, their winless run can be extended by these 5 games and maybe beyond.1 -
I'm sure we have this discussion about Palace every season when they hit a bad run of form. They'll be nowhere near relegation as the bottom 3 this season are so poor. Currently none of them are on track to even reach 25 points.3

Can't see Villa winning the title, but I said the same about Leicester.
Would be brilliant.0 -
We do need one the promoted sides to significantly improve though. Shocking that despite a 10 point deduction, Everton are already above them1
-
Rate it's going City could take a 50 point deduction and stay up, the bottom teams are so poor

It's not like there's anything to get excited about in SE7.0 - Sponsored links:

without Areta performing on the touchline, Arsenal are clueless0

Addick Addict said:If ever there was a means of determining where Man United are as a team, then one only has to look at who they have beaten and lost to (utilising Everton's position without the 10 point deduction):
Arsenal (2nd) Lost 3-1
Man City (4th) Lost 3-0
Tottenham (5th) Lost 2-0
Newcastle (7th) Lost 1-0
Brighton (8th) Lost 3-1
Everton (10th) Won 3-0
Chelsea (11th) Won 2-1
Brentford (12th) Won 2-1
Bournemouth (14th) Lost 3-0
Fulham (15th) Won 1-0
Palace (16th) Lost 1-0
Nott'm F (17th) Won 3-2
Luton (18th) Won 1-0
Burnley (19th) Won 2-1
Sheff United (20th) Won 1-0
So United have lost all five matches against a top 8 side, eight of their nine wins have been by just a single goal but five of their seven defeats have been by more than one goals and they've only scored 18 in their 16 matches. Not bad for a club with the second highest net spend (over £400m) over the course of the last three seasons. Their embarrassment is only tempered by the even more woeful performances of the biggest net spenders, Chelsea.
I suspect that Bayern Munich's 5-1 thrashing by Eintracht Frankfurt won't have helped either - they Germans might have chosen to rest most of their side for this week's clash in the CL but could be less inclined to do so given yesterday's result.0 -
Fulham beating the Hammers 3-0 after 40 minutes. This follows their 5-0 midweek thrashing of Forest. What the hell is going on down at the Cottage?2
-
Bloody hell Luton... Now hold the lead this time1
-
Go on Luton2

What has Pep got to complain about!!0

Other teams having the audacity to take the lead against them?1
