First time I've actually seen the Newcastle goal vs Arsenal
That Gabriel "push" is very odd - He genuinely looks as though the touch from Joelinton has had no effect on his movement, as he's jumped upwards to head the ball, he knows he fucked up, because he's tried to exaggerate his jump to make it look as though he's been fouled.
Whereas Joelinton's hands are on the top of his back, so if someone pushed you, I cant see how you'd jump like Gabriel does, you'd surely just sprawl to the floor?
Good to see VAR has sorted out the mess from the Spurs vs Liverpool game in this instance, they've at the very least ensured there is no confusion over what decision they're advising the onfield referee.
Apologies... Now back to those who just want to shout "Get rid of VAR" and think constantly repeating it, will see something differently happen!!

They really need to air these conversations live...
Only one that they've fucked up on (out of these four) is the Wolves one.

Not a PL match, but after his sending off for Arsenal at the weekend, Fabio Vieira played in their U21 EFL Trophy side tonight against Reading. Scoring then missing a penalty as they lost 5-20

Manchester City have posted a Premier League record revenue of £712.8m for the 2022-23 financial year. City's profit of £80.4m is up from last year's club record of £41.7m.

They will still stay up comfortably2 -
If you're going to be handed a 10pt deduction, this is the season to be getting it!3

Good to see some form of punishment handed down at least. As JohnBoy says just a shame there are plenty of teams poor enough to give Everton a realistic chance of staying up. They're like a turd that won't flush.
Can only hope that if City and Chelsea are found guilty of their indiscretions they get hammered for them. Won't hold my breath.0 -
Newcastle will be able to sign players on loan from sides also controlled by their Saudi owners in January, after a vote by Premier League clubs on a temporary ban on related-party loans did not receive the required support.
Twelve clubs voted in favour of a block on loan moves between teams under the same ownership.
That was two short of the two-thirds majority needed for it to be passed.
The Premier League was understood to be in favour of introducing the ban.

After the controversy surrounding their attempt at keeping Greenwood. A little tone deaf.0 -
The games not even 2mins old and I want to throw something at the television.
Just commentate on the game you absolute c🤬1 -
That is possibly one of the softest “fouls” on a goalkeeper I’ve ever seen given to disallow a goal.2
-
Trent getting MOTM is weird.
Been beat all game by Doku down the wing and Man City have basically dominated the game.
Suits the 'story' though I guess.0 -
what beef has Nunez got with Pep?0

Newcastle intend to take the lead and hold onto what they've got hence having three keepers (Dubravka, Karius and Gillespie) on the bench.2
-

I’ve always disliked Luton. But for some reason, I quite like them today. 😎10

Would love to see Ramsdale throw one in his own net.0

Another awful result for Burnley, the pressure has to be on Kompany now.1

No fuss, just getting on with it. Meanwhile Chelsea had 250m of players on their bench and are still absolutely terrible.3 -
I think we can safely say Eric Dier's Spurs career is done.
He's on the bench today and they're playing Emerson Royal and Ben Davies at centre back!0 -
Someone really ought to sit Son down and explain the Offside Law to him - he's had three "goals" disallowed against Villa for being offside0
-
Roy Keane summing Spurs up as “Spursy” made me chuckle. 😂0
