A: "Its just not cricket, Harry."
Q. "Howzat"
A. We don't want League games going on for 120 minutes and more stoppages than just past Junction 10 on the M25, Clockwise.
I think this was prescient with the Spurs v Chelsea shenanigans.
Wouldn't be at all surprised if one of the stoppages led to van der Venn pulling his hamstring what with getting cold. I guess its par for the course now.4 -
Independent review panel finds that the Newcastle goal was legit. But both sides should’ve been down to 10 men by that point.
2 -
2/5 of the panel thought that the forearm by Bruno wasn't enough to be a red card decision by VAR.
The same panel decided that Udogie's two footed lunging tackle didn't meet the threshold for a VAR intervention either.
They're protecting their own like they always do. But keep lapping it up.
Reading the justification for the goal decision, and now apparently it's okay to push another player with two hands if they've already gone for the ball? That's a new one that I've never heard before. Must be a new rule.1 -
Now confirmed by Big Ange. Both Maddison and van der Venn out until the new year at earliest. Well hello mid table if we're lucky. FFS.0

If you want names, here you go, they were leaked in March. No idea if it’s still the same five. None are referees or affiliated with PGMOL as far as I’m aware.“The identity of the panel members had been kept confidential. But they have now been revealed as Carney, Green, Jonathan Walters, Steven Reid and ex-Wimbledon boss Terry Burton.”

So 2 of the 5 in the 'independent panel' already have a vested interest of protecting PGMOL.
I wonder which two decided that a forearm into a face off-the-ball is deemed not a red card.0 -
Late win for Wolves over Spurs.
Bournemouth sacking Gary O'Neil looked an odd decision at the time, and looks even worse now4 -

that’s why they call it the beautiful game1

Had Wolves in my treble as Spurs had injury and Suspension issue but Wolves were so inept in front of goal until Sarabia scored a cracker. Gary O'Neil proving Bournemouth didn't appreciate what a good job he did keeping the Cherries in the Premier.0
-
All this talk of Bournemouth, they will probably thrash the geordies later on.0
-
After all the thoughts that this could be the season when they finally go down, Everton are now 8 points clear of the relegation places.0

I hate to say it but they will comfortably finish mid table.1 -

Tbf Newcastle have a huge injury crisis0
-
That first Wolves goal is ridiculously good.1
-
Eze booked for diving when Palace should probably have got another penalty.

Did I just hear a set of fans sing...
"Champions of Europe... You'll never sing that?"
Erm...0 -
That's a penalty but two hands in the back isn't a foul.
Make it make sense.0 -
More VAR controversy …. Getting a bit bored by all this shit now0
-
Yeah thats a typical 50/50 shirt pull from Defender and Attacker0
-
Thought was a penalty myself. Both had a hold but was the extra grab around the waist1

I don’t think you’d expect a pen there, but because the ref gave it, I can only assume it’s not considered to be a clear and obvious error.
One of the big issues with VAR for me is that they’ve decided to overrule some things because of a measurement to a millimetre, while other things are decided due to subjective interpretation. How they expect people to not be frustrated with it, god only knows.0 -
Cole Palmer is a player. Get him in the England set up please.2
-
Chelsea deserve that, not just because of the penalty0
-
Every England fan needs to hope Reece James gets a run of games and builds fitness between now and the Euros. He is quality.2
