Not a pen imo, got the ball and it wasn't malicious.

I hate VAR, if that was against us even I'd claim the other team are hard done by.

The worst part of the image is people showing only the still shot of the contact after he clearly makes contact with the ball, Enzo doesn't even go down as Romero hadn't lost control.

I didn't see any of the other stuff, only tuned in for the penalty incident.
Sorry can’t agree.  It was malicious
Yeah fair enough, I didn't think it looked it and I always side with the defender as I think they're restricted enough as it is.

Fella, it was a pen and a red all day long.  Just cant do that!
Fair enough saying it as a Spurs fan.

My perception is play on as he got the ball and Enzo didn't go down and Romero looked controlled enough to me.

Good job I ain't a ref as there would be red cards being waived off left right and centre 😂

Watching teams with nine men will always remind me of the Boxing Day 2-2 against Swindon.
  • If Spurs somehow scrape a draw then Vicario will be 1.01 to be MOM

If you think Romero looked controlled, i'd love to see someone who'd lost his head.

No offers now! The bloke has been brilliant.
  • This Spurs keeper.
    He's awesome.
I'm worried now he'll miss the ball & take a player & he'll be off & they'll end up with Dier in goal 😳🫣🤣🤣

Spurs goalie playing a blinder. He might have to go off with a concussion now though, just saved a shot point blank with his face.

Spurs used all five subs but think they'd get an extra one if he is concussed...
  • Would be hilarious if Chelsea lose to 9 men.

This high-line defensive line when you have 9 men would get destroyed by any team not named Chelsea.

    1-2. Spurs resistance is broken
  • Dier will never finish better than that. Shame it was offside.
  • Suicidal defending that high with 9 men. They've been doing it all game and the only surprise is that they weren't undone sooner.

Emotional rollercoaster of a match for Spurs fans.

Still think it's not right that another player (in this case Jackson) can be in an offside position when the ball is first played but deemed to be not part of that piece of play. He put the ball in the back of the net partly because he was ahead of tre defenders.

As Chelsea have 2 more men they could just leave Jackson on the edge of the Spurs box.
  • Why does VAR take so long to check that? Everyone could see Dier was offside from the very first replay.

Dier a mile offside but they take 5 minutes to view it anyway. Pointless.

Momentarily 2-2 but Dier fractionally offside
  • might have come off a chelsea defender

It does seem very odd. I think the offside laws need a thorough review.

Dier was clearly well ahead of the nearest Chelsea player but it was closer than it looked on first viewing because of the far side centre back's outstretched leg.
  • Antony (rightly) gets a lot of stick but Mudryk can't be far behind him in the worst value for money Premier league signing of recent times.

They only signed him (and paid over the odds) because Arsenal were about to sign him. Hopefully he’ll improve over the 8,500 years he has left on his contract.

not sure how that's a yellow tbh - Mudryk had every right to go for that
  • Just the 21 minutes of added time in this game then.

1-3 - carbon copy of Chelsea's second goal
  • Odd scenario where Spurs fans will go home happier than Chelsea Fans. Chelsea have been terrible.

I doubt the Spurs fans will be that bloody happy. They don’t have a massive squad and now have two suspensions and three injuries to contend with.

1-4 to really rub it in
