Postecoglou just did a 20 minute interview on talksport. The guy comes across so well!

777 Partners has been embroiled in numerous controversies since being founded by Josh Wander and Steven Pasko in 2015, including allegations of fraud, which the company denies.
Well that sounds like it'll all go brilliantly well.0 -

James Maddison named Played of the Month for August.
The effect Ange has had on the squad and the football club in general in the space of 3 months is nothing short of ridiculous.
I said back in July when I watched that first pre-season friendly against West Ham (which we lost 2-3), after only a couple of weeks of training, you could see he was trying to change things. The team was playing with freedom. The reins were off. Attack after attack, press after press, it was like watching Spurs under Poch but better. Straight after the game, he said all 3 goals conceded were down to him, the team hadn't done anything defensively at all, they'd been concentrating on the other end. He takes responsibility. Can you imagine Conte or Mourinho ever coming out and saying that? For me, that was like wow.
Look, lets not carried away here, its a huge work in progress. No doubt we will get taken apart by some of the better teams in the PL (Arsenal next week followed by the Bin Dippers the week after for a proper test!), we'll no doubt get injuries/suspensions which will hurt us (especially if at CB!) because of lack of cover - Dier out of favour, Sanchez gone to Turkey, leaves young Phillips who we bought from Blackburn and Ben Davies!) but there are a huge number of positives.
Ange is the biggest positive of them all. I cant remember a manager coming in (at Spurs) and having such an immediate impact. Yes, we've had a reasonable run of games (Brentford A, United H, Bournemouth A, Burnley A) but the quality of football that we've seen in them 4 games has been great. Its open, we will get found out at times but its so so so much better to watch!
I think I said on here at the start of the season, I would have snapped your hand off for 6-7th. Thats hasn't changed. Anything above that is a huge bonus.
But if we continue to improve on the same trajectory, next season might be fun.
There's a great video on you tube by 4-4-2 breaking down 'Angeball' here. Worth a watch if you like that sort of thing.

Ironic that Kane would have a ton of goals in this team just as he leaves.

We're piling our hopes on a fella that was 3rd or 4th choice. We were hours away from getting Arne Slot. We've fell on Ange like we did Poch when was turned down by van Gaal.
The Angels Robbie Williams rehash, that came after 2 games FFS. That was heard at the United game post-match. 2 games! Thats the sort of thing you sing about a manager after 2-3 proper successful seasons, not 2 bloody games. As my mate said to me at the bar whilst we was listening to that song being sung, 'christ, we've gone bloody early on that havent we?'

Can I claim an assist for that?
Jesus F Christ. We battered them for the entire game but just couldn't break them down. Their CBs were brilliant but the timewasting was ridiculous from their keeper.
10 yellows + 1 red and only one remotely bad tackle in the entire game.
3 mins of injury time 1st half, 12 mins second and ended up playing 16 mins. How is that bloody right?
Appalling refereeing all game, the standard of the refereeing in the PL is just incompetent. Jeez.
Arsenal will take us to the cleaners sadly.1 -

If you had seen what we had to put up with at Stevenage today in the refereeing stakes then you might just appreciate that PL refereeing isn't so bad.3 -
Why, oh why, were Manchester City and West Ham allowed to play in the same colour shorts?1

I'm enjoying Chelsea's 5 points from 15 League games. Why I put them down for an away win is similar to life insurance, you don't want it to happen but...
Crazy mistake by me yesterday when I was trying to multi task, I picked out Newcastle and marked down Brentford 🤷🏻♂️ a schoolboy error only made by adults in a hurry.
Never done that before and it may be a sign I need a carer 🙄
Being a football analyst geek I even enjoyed Danny Murphy's summing up of Man United v their nemesis Brighton. Gary Neville found out football coaching is easier on a board or TV screen than when you actually try it with footballers with various levels of ability to carry out what is required.
Personally feel to lose Greenwood, Antony, as well as Sancho yesterday for various misdemeanour, some very serious and the latter just football related, plus they can't move Maguire on because of his mega wages, tells you that being a world football brand brings its own problems when on a losing run.

Since 16 October last year Chelsea have only won 6 league games (Bournemouth twice, Palace, Leeds, Leicester and Luton).
