After 12 CC matches and with just the two remaining, our top wicket taker has just 21 wickets this season. That cannot have been the case in any season in the history of Kent CCC can it? Even in the Covid year (2020) Stevens managed to take 29 wickets in the five games we played.0

We still have a chance but I think the Muyeye/Finch partnership is a vital one. Suspect Evison will come in next and if we lose two more wickets then we will send Compton in to do his impression of Stonewall Jackson!0

Surely we have to settle for the draw now, with Muyeye out. Losing would be disastrous, with Middlesex grinding to a draw and Northants with the chance of a win1
