Have to admit I’ve always thought Gordon massively overrated but he’s killing Liverpool today

Hopefully the ref also reports him for what he was saying to him.

Eddie Howe is a brilliant manager... what he has done at Newcastle.... would love him in the England job one day.

    Should do.
Also what he said to the third official as he left.

Could do with Gomez having a good game to put himself in the shop window.

Should’ve given him another card. That would’ve been excellent. Pundits would’ve been wetting their pants about it.

    MOTM performance today

Sold to Saudi on Tuesday for £50m

With the sell on money we buy 5 top players before the end of the window, and piss the league.

Is Carragher taking the fucking piss?
How can you say that isn’t denying a goal scoring opportunity?
    Fucking one eyed scouse prick.

It's the only way the cheque book gets opened before the window closes.

Ashamed to admit I kind of enjoyed watching Newcastle implode there. Just wish it wasn’t against Liverpool!

These teams that concede late goals to lose matches...
  • Eddie Howe is a brilliant manager... what he has done at Newcastle.... would love him in the England job one day.
I thought the reason they lost that was because he subbed off 3 of his best players when it was only 1-0. Tonali was holding the midfield together and Gordon was tearing them apart.

They went off and Newcastle imploded.

Bowen's goal at Brighton .. a thing of beautiful simplicity

Agreed, people would be raving about it had it been scored by a bigger name player.

    Control was superb.
  • I'd love to know how this works.

Last night Haaland won the PFA players' player of the year award.

Yet Saka was voted young player of the year, a category in which Haaland was also nominated.

How can you be good enough to win the overall, but not the young player award?!

Players probably didn't put Haaland in both categories, so whoever voted Haaland for POTY would then put someone else for YPOTY. Then any player that voted someone else for POTY may well have voted Haaland for YPOTY. I think it's better that more people get the awards, pointless anyone else turning up if everything's just handed to the Norwegian Cyborg

Cole Palmer to Chelsea for £45m. Have been very impressed with Palmer but City clearly feel that they have adequate cover and that the price is right. Whereas Chelsea have no idea what the right price is for a player.
