Chelsea are interested in signing USA striker Folarin Balogun from Arsenal, who value him at £50m, with Monaco also keen on the 22-year-old, while Inter Milan are no longer in the running. (Sky Sports)

It's got to the stage where you could link any player with Chelsea for a crazy fee, and it's a believable story.
They need a striker, Kanu scored in last two games, surely we'll get a £50m offer?

Surprised they haven't managed to get anyone better known to replace 3. Would have thought they'd still be able to get a major company.

Aston villa given a foul for exactly the same foul as the United one that was refused.

    Consistency of premier League referees.

'bargain buy' Ward-Prowse doing for the Hammers what he's done for years at the Saints .. i.e. deadly accurate set pieces

I’ll admit I don’t watch much Prem football these days, but I’m amazed I’ve only heard of 4 of Chelsea’s starting 11

I just can’t get my head round the fact that they have spent umpteen squillion quid and have Burstow on the bench.

Written in the stars that after umpteen near misses they will finally get relegated the year they leave Goodison.

Looking like 3 from 5 already - Sheffield United, Luton, Everton, Fulham and Wolves.  Won’t work out that way of course but it looks very like it at the moment.

Nah they’ll stay up, they always do. They looked the worst team I’ve seen this season in the Prem earlier though, properly all over the place.

Same boat - recognised 5 out of the 11 and 4 on the bench (and that’s only because 2 played for Charlton)

I said Arsenal dodged a bullet with Murdyk and said the same with Liverpool and Caceido. I think Liverpool have done well getting Endo from Stuggart for 20% or less of the price.

    Time will tell obviously.

Even at £60m, the 22 year old Hungarian captain Szobszla looks a great bit of business too. He appears to be the complete midfielder and has very much the look in that respect of a Steven Gerrard.

Said before the season I thought he'd looked good for Hungary when we played them & could be a great signing - he was very good v Bournemouth.

If Liverpool get a decent defensive midfielder in they've done a good job this summer on the midfield.
