Excellent innings by Leaning with some fantastic late hits of 137* (127) held the innings together. He put on an unbeaten 69 with Jas Singh for the 9th wicket of which the latter made just 2!!!! The total is probably below par and not helped by the somewhat predictable mid innings collapse.0 -

We actually had two collapses in the innings that cost us 7 wickets for a return of 15 runs. How we managed to reach 287-8 with that in mind is an achievement in itself!0

Shame that we are so lacking in spinners - just the six in the side with Qadri, Parkinson, the two Denlys, Leaning and not forgetting Blake. In fact, the keeper, Finch and Compton are the only two in the team who don't bowl at all.1

Compton appears to be off at the moment with a sub fielder on. Unless he's hiding somewhere? Hopefully a long toilet visit0
