A lead of 367 is certainly gettable with 2 days to play.

Rain forecast tomorrow and Monday could be as bad as a wash out.

We've got more than enough IMO. I can't see them getting anywhere near. If the weather behaves itself then we win this comfortably.

Bollox. That is the last thing we needed is our bowlers injured.

Didn't know about the forecast. In that case carry on swinging the bat!

An odd situation where Australia don't want to bat tonight, but England don't want to bowl either.

to be fair it would take Aus 10 overs to pull back what Jimmy just scored there

Really impressed with our batting today, fair play to the lads.

just saying but it will be Broad on strike tomorrow.. could it be worth 1 over just to see if he can whack another 8 or 10?

With the new ball available I'd declare at 10:19am if I was Stokes. No point sending Jimmy and Broady out, give the Aussie openers as little time as possible to prepare.

Not sure it's worth the risk personally

England will bat all day tomorrow and score enough runs to win the match.
    Trust me
    Never in doubt

Shame to see Broad go but fair play to him. Going out at the top of his game.

Brilliant battling with nous today by England.
130 runs a session is sublime.
Gutting that it isn't 2-2 because of the bastard Manchester weather and we win 3-2 tomorrow.

Steward Broad is retiring and going out at the top. 600 wickets is amazing.

Superb lad and great character and finish with a fifer tomorrow after a great series.

gutted. But now I really do hope he comes out in the morning for one more swing and get the ovation he deserves

Quite a shock, but a great way to end, still taking wickets against the Aussies

Interesting that his partner Mollie King was interviewed on TMS today

The Anderson, Broad partnership is without doubt the most successful bowling partnership in England cricket history.
    Love them both.

Almost asked earlier in the series if he could maybe catch Anderson.

    Sadly not.

I was at The Oval for Cook's final game, and will be there tomorrow (and Monday) for Broad's final game.

What a player he’s been. I thought he’d end up slightly more successful with the bat but not as successful with the ball. I guess he somewhat sacrificed one for the other which was obviously the right call.
