Yep, I've woken up with similar fears. Hope I'm wrong but I think today could be a disaster 

I have got a glass half full - we bat all day score 350 and give the bowlers some rest to pile into the Aussies tomorrow 

My concern is that England are once again having to think about the weather when considering their tactics.

Without any chance of rain, there's 3 days left. Instead, we don't know how much play will be lost, and when to declare (if in that situation).

Just merely highlighting the ridiculously over-pessimistic outlook of some. And I rate myself a pessimist too, but I'm like Mr Positive on an overdose of positive pills compared to some!

But consider me told off.

I'm becoming more positive. Aussies bowling/tactics are worse than ours yesterday evening!

Before this Innings Crawley had averaged 55 in this Ashes series and Ben Ducket 34.
That is the long and the short of it.

Stokes to come in at 3, let's hope, not any time soon.

He might not get a chance to bat.  Stokes comes in at 120/1 and puts on a 250 run partnership with Crawley. Declares on 375/1.

It's been quite easy for openers in this series when compared to the last few years

Let’s hope for another mammoth innings from Crawley. Bit concerned at Stokes coming in at 3, could work but I sometimes doubt his judgement but then again what do I know!
