Game and the ashes are over…. The radar on my met office app looks horrific tomorrow all day. Loads of yellows and oranges which doesn’t mean drizzle.0

Here’s a scenario… we get a decent half day of play. England bowl out the Aussies for about 70 more runs in 25 overs.
During the break between innings, the sky darkens and it rains a bit but nothing torrential. The rain is cleared up by 5:30pm and it’s looking promising. Duckett and Crawley head out to the middle, ready to chase the target of 10 runs. The umpires meanwhile have determined that there’s not enough light to bowl pace. The Australians see an opportunity. They refuse to bowl spin only and thus sit out the rest of the Test match for a draw.0 -

It's the bladdy hope, surely all weather forecasts can't be wrong today.0

The big question is whether to go with Root and Ali even if the quicks can bowl, at least until the new ball1

Hopefully the rain will hold off but its not looking good0

Based on the weather radar our best chance of play is before 2pm. Hopefully we can get through enough overs to take the final 5 wickets.

Australia average 20 for the last 5 wickets so far this series, which would set us 40 to win...0
