    If Stokes can’t bowl, Foakes for Bairstow or Ali and whoever gets the nod to play bats at 3

    It’s not perfect but I think it’s the best we’ve got. Root’s best spot is 4, Brook’s is 5 and Stokes’ is 6. I wouldn’t want to move any of them around.

    Either Bairstow bats 7 as wicketkeeper or he goes up the order.
