    This is very sad. Rip Tony.

    I know lots of people have benefited from expressing themselves and getting support on here. Thats not possible for everyone. For a start not everyone is on the internet and will even think of telling their innermost troubles to relative strangers.

    It's difficult and sad at times for everyone. The 'how are you thread?'* shows that.  But a problem shared can lead to new perspectives and a lightening of the load, even in the short term while circumstances work their way out.

    Don't be shy in coming forward even if it means being anonymous with a new username among fellow fans.

    RIP Tony Slater: I don't know Tony so I have no knowledge of his metal health history but very sad to hear.

    I really don't think the stigma when metal health dips ( we all have metal health) is a taboo in 2023 But for many men it will always be difficult when you have children, mortgage pressures and you want to be able to work, rest and play, yet your spinning plates are crashing. Women are generally better at talking problems with female friends and female relatives.

    So sorry for the loss of your great friend @MattyHolland68.  Heartbreaking for his young family and friends and something I know they will struggle to understand. So hard for any of us to really know what others are going through, even when they are close to us.  Rest in peace Tony.

    Tragic news to read.

    I didn't know Tony but awful for anyone to be driven to suicide. Condolences @MattyHolland68 and also to Tony's family and other friends.
