    Bairstow showing his rustiness. Playing a couple of CC games in May, I doubt he would have had to keep to spinners much. As someone else said, Buttler would have taken it as stumpings are a much more common dismissal in T20 than Tests. You can't keep at the IPL if you can't keep to spinners

    All keeper's are expected to take decent catches and they normally do.
    The difference between a good and a great keeper is how many they drop.
    That was a bad missed stumping and he's lucky it only cost 38 runs.

    I don't think anyone would argue that Bairstow is a great keeper and that Foakes isn't a great one.

    I don't watch any significant amount of foreign, non test match cricket, I wonder how many other teams pick the best wicket keeper in any forms?

    We really only have 2 strike bowlers......1 is 40 & the other is 36.

    Anyone else is slow & ineffectual.

    Wood,Anderson and Broad will probably play 3 Tests each this summer so I expect him to play in the next one.
    Anderson and Broad because of their age and Wood because of his body all need to be managed carefully this series
