Nowhere near as optimistic as I was a couple months ago but I'm going heart over head and predicting England 3-1.

    Head says 1-3 Aus.
If you're talking number 5 batsmen, surely you mean Harry over Head...

Everyone is panicking after watching Australia win a game they were heavy favourites for. 3-1 England

It's 22 years since England last failed to win at least two Tests in a home Ashes series. Australia have brought far better players in each of the series since then and have failed to win any series.

    3-1 England.

With rain forecast on Day 3 England will go for ultra Bazball to win in 2 days.

As I’m going on day 4 I’m chuffed with rain on day 3 😂

Far better players than their 2001 squad? Do you want me to list it out? Oh wait, it's a Chizz post on a cricket thread, it's bait

Good toss to win. Tenner to the upbeats if Crawley is still in at half 11.

Especially considering it sounds like more cloudy weather etc the other days.

Interesting we're worried about Stokes's knee, but Hazelwood also has issues, and apparently Green has a few back niggles.

Interesting that both sides have left out their "x factor" bowlers Wood and Starc

If it weren't for the difference in money, I doubt that there is an England or Australian player who wouldn't swap playing in The Ashes for playing in The IPL

Hazlewood, by all accounts, wanted to play against India and considered himself fit enough to do so. I think Australia were always going to play Hazelwood here but wanted to see whether it was going to be Starc or Boland who he replaced.

I'm predicting 2-2, with one game rain affected
I think the same, but the other way round!

Two different approaches. Both will enjoy significant wins.

Just feel, man for man, the Aussies have the better cricketers.

First Ashes where both opening bowlers hit for 4 from their first delivery.

As I've said time and time again. Duckett is one of the best cutters of a ball in the game!!!!
