Must feel amazing for those fans who were @ Wembley in '99

25 years on, think how lauded those treble winning United players are.

Man City have done it. A massive achievement.

"The greatest story in club history is complete"?!

    Come off it.
Not even the greatest story in English club football this season. Luton tops this.

Cant believe Southampton stopped them doing the quadruple 🤣

Good to see some English players winning more trophies. Let's translate that into the Euros next year please!
  • Wasn't expecting Ederson to be MOTM
Especially as he had a shaky couple of minutes early on.

Ironic that it was all set up for Haaland to be the hero and Stones and Ederson were head and shoulders the best on the pitch.

Since 1986, there are few more satisfying images in world football than an Argie crying.

If Stones can keep up that level of performance in an England shirt we’ll be in good stead.

Stones, Grealish, Foden, Walker all central to the greatest club side in the world. Throw Bellingham, Rice, Saka, Kane into the mix, and it’s inconceivable we don’t win something.

Said before, John Stones is so underrated.

    Glad they won.

    I was thinking similar.
    Gillingham to CL winners.

Won't play the same role given we've not got many CBs.

He's been absolute quality in that midfield role last few months.

Grealish is such a likeable lad. Down to earth fella.

Enjoyed the interview with Grealish, good to see someone just being genuine and not rolling out stock answers etc.

Unfortunately England don’t have a Diaz to allow stones to do that. But he’s still a red hot CB.

Only takes £1.5bn and 115 fair play breaches....

(Yes, I know, PSG, Man Utd etc have spent money but aren't run well etc.)

How deep are the pockets on those salmon trousers?

I enjoyed Rodri saying “I played shit”, Grealish saying “I was crap tonight” and BT Sport not bothering to apologise for the language either time. Refreshing.

My main takeaway from that match: never seen such a great side so bad at taking set pieces ffs lol

Grealish is like a fan who won a competition to play, almost can’t believe he’s there. Really pleased for him
