Mixing up presenters and pundits here but hey ho:
I think Lineker, Irvine, Logan, Murray and Chapman are excellent. I want to like Alex Scott as she comes across as a lovely person but she’s a poor presenter and her voice/accent annoy me. McCoist and Woods are great. Can’t stand Carragher and Richards whose buffoonery is incredibly annoying. I quite like Murphy as a pundit despite himself. Jenas is too up himself. Of the newer breed I could listen to Jill Scott all day and I hope we see more of Nedum Onuoha who is articulate, calm and intelligent. I don’t mind Shearer and Wrighty and quite like Keane and Neville as pantomime villains. I’ll miss Souness. I switch off at the mere mention of Clinton Morrison. Nick Dougherty on Sky golf is great as are Sarah Stirk, Rich Beem and Radar. I don’t like listening to Coltart as he pronounces all his “t”s as “d”s. (“Great pudd from Lee”. Arghh and McGinley needs to be put out to grass. Dame Laura is incredibly boring. Faldo is surprisingly good.2 -

If we're talking about presenters, then of the current ones it would be Mark Chapman. The role of the presenter is to ask the questions the public would want to be asked, and to bring out the best from the guests. And to make it look effortless.
Alex Scott is a much better pundit than presenter, I don't understand why she doesn't just stick with what she's good at.

I think Ed Chamberlain is incredibly knowledgeable and a very, very good live TV presenter0

lots of bbc presenters mentioned here. Goes to show what great value the license fee gives us.4

Danny Gabbidon, hands down.

Pundit wise there are none better than Tim Vickery. You won’t find him doing Premier League coverage typically, as he specialises in South American football. Though he is on the BBC World Football Phone-In on a weekly basis.
Any time you spend listening to him talk about the overall culture of the game on a global level is an education session. If you want to learn about history and societal issues through the prism of football, then he’ll do that in a way that is understandable and informative. However, he will also be able to dissect a game and report the key issues without cliche.
He has had a major influence on the way I think about and enjoy Football, on many different levels.8 -

Anyone who says Alex Scott should be banned for life!
Colin Murray was great when he did the EFL show. I also like Mark Chapman.1 -
Colin Murray is fantastic on Fighting Talk , will be sad when he leaves at the end of the season and I don't know how they're going to replace him1

Bloody love Chappers0

presenter would have to be James Richardson
sitting outside a cafe with a half eaten ice cream and a mug of coffee holding up the pink italian sports paper whilst a waiter serves some people in the background. Magical period for TV sport. Plus having the late great Peter Brackley as commentator.13 -

I know he was originally just a producer and maybe he wasn't that bothered by football though he does support Roma.0

Chappers and Murray both very good
Lineker is good but can come across a bit smug
As a pundit/co-commentator on the radio , Fara Williams is very good1 -

Yes, James Richardson is the all time best "Berlesconi missed Milans game due to heart surgery - he's having one installed".
I like Mark Chapman, he reminds of a good holding midfielder who wins the ball and moves it on to others who do the fancy stuff. Underrated but essential.
