    I've never been interested enough in other people's sexuality to ask on a football forum. Is there any particular reason for your open curiosity about how many gay fans you're addressing?

    I've never sung it, but always thought the "holding hands" chant to be relatively innocuous, seeing that it's not an attack on gay people or saying that being gay is bad, but rather a stereotype that all Brighton fans are gay. Based on Brighton being the unofficial LGBT capital of the country.

    Yes I'm glad it's not being sung, but it's fairly innocuous when compared with the songs football fans sing without comment, such as Brighton singing about shooting the Palace scum or us building a bonfire to burn Millwall and Palace fans.

    Nobody here is getting offended on others peoples’ behalf. Rather, posters are calling out shit behaviour. It’s fucked that you don’t get that, and even more fucked that you’re finding your own inanity amusing.
