Messi pulls his man down to stop the counter, no yellow.
  • I don't mind who wins now, but really want it to be WON by someone, rather than lost by a mistake or missed penalty

Then he'll whinge about the ref afterwards like the Dutch game.

Rio Ferdinand saying this is the best World Cup he’s ever seen 😳

    Eh?

    Absolute dross for 79 minutes.

    Dear me.
Can you name me another in the last 20-30 years which was just as good?

Maybe Italy-France in 2006 but other than that they’ve generally been pretty low-key in terms of excitement.
  • Typical Argie dirty stinking filth right there - aiming to hurt him there

Rio Ferdinand is a joker. He literally goes over the top with everything.

    True, lots of cagey finals.

The France v Italy one in 2006 was decent.

Superb subs by France to breath life into an ailing struggling team. So much life which have also energised Mbappé.
16 man game and taking off Di maria too soon isn't looking like a good decision.
  • Great block.

Twice in a row Argentina should have had corners and goal kicks were given.

Qatari authorities must have changed their minds on who they want to win
