Wonder why Thomas was so far behind on the first half … sounds like his second half was superb
Interesting interview with him … sounds like he was given bad advice on how to start
    Negative split, innit
Bit of a mistake that he was still wearing his gilet… unusual for that to be missed by the team.
I don't think he's even the protected rider. Pretty sure it'll be Dani Martinez

I’m pretty sure he’s not a protected rider and wonder if losing some time over the first week of the tour might suit him as if ineos are a way out on GC he might get the chance to go for some stages

Couldn't look away from the screen, so many races within the race, and utter carnage, great excitement and entertainment (for the viewer, must have been torture and stress for the riders!).

Sounds like I need to start watching... Been a bit bitter this year over Cavendish being left out lol!

It was great but at the same time it feels like the race as a whole is ruined.

I get what you mean but I’m looking forward to seeing Pidcock over the rest of the race

Again another enjoyable stage but the procession to Paris has already started.

    Or gets caught.

I obviously mean by someone else, not the police or drug testers, certainly not suggesting that.

It's fucking ridiculous now. He's got to get popped at some point, there's not even any subtlety to it. It's like getting beaten with a sledgehammer by a bloke who looks like he's made out of pipe cleaners.

What was funny was he just casually pulled away from Michael Matthews. So now we can add top level sprinting to his CV along being able to out climb some of the best in the world.

"George Bennett, a key Pogacar ally, has dropped off the back. So has Marc Solar. The UAE team seem to have some issues with their bikes."

Probably run out of petrol......... 😂😂⛽⛽

Looks like they have managed to full up.  Looks like he is out for a casual afternoon ride to the shops.

The written rules of cycling say you don’t take banned performance enhancing substances. The unwritten rules say you don’t attack a rider particularly a GC contender when they have suffered something like a mechanical or similar fate.
In the current circumstances should the other teams ignore this unwritten rule with Pogacar?
