Australia vs Peru for a place @ the World Cup - 13th June 2022 - This is the same Australia who left the OFC for the AFC because they were fed up of having to face a COMMEBOL team in the World Cup Play-Offs

Fixed it for you... Neither team tonight looked like they stand a chance against Peru

    Big game tonight.....UAE V Australia.....winner plays Peru.
I'll be there tonight.....looking forward to it.
Let us know what the stadium is like. Seeing 3x games there in November.

So in a week when the world cup would've started (had it been anywhere but the middle east), Qatar is hosting qualifiers in open air stadiums?

Even though the game was 9pm at night it must still be absolutely roasting there?

One of the few stadiums with surface level air conditioning I believe. The players didn’t seem to be too bothered by the conditions from what I saw.

It was 43 degrees about an hour before kick off, but a dry heat so not uncomfortable. Inside the stadium its air conditioned to around 25 degrees at pitch level and around 28 degrees in the stands.

One of the club stadiums here has a/c vents under the seats in the stands, but you end up with frozen feet, and the locals have the issue where it blows up their thobes  :D

Hang on a moment. Are you saying that they have air conditioning in a stadium without a roof?!

They had outdoor air conditioning in Singapore back in 2006 when I was there.

Both teams play some okay stuff but have absolutely nothing in the final third.

    How Peru arent ahead now...

If France struggle against either of these (the World Cup winner curse) I'll piss myself laughing.

Ooof... Australia changing their Goalkeeper ahead of penalties.
