When are referees going to clamp down on the behaviour of keeper's in penalty shoot outs?
There was at least one occasion if not more where the Australia keeper met the Peru players halfway down the pitch as they were walking towards the penalty spot and seemed to be giving them some verbals.
And then for the final penalty he spent around a minute having a drink of water whilst the Peru player stood to take his penalty.
I'm all for gaining an advantage where possible but that is surely unsporting behaviour? Seems to be happening more and more often now in penalties as well because other keeper's see counterparts getting away with it.
The referee made some terrible calls and very inconsistent. Left so frustrated that the referee decided the game. The disallowed goal is some of the worst referring/VARing i have ever seen. Garbett slightly grabs an oponents leg as he falls down gets up plays the ball 5-7 sceconds later we score. Costa Ricans plead with ref to review the incident. Goal disallowed. Contact/Gripping no worse than a thousand jostles in the box during a corner. Fck the lot of yas. (Go England).

Didnt think they'd do it, not when they missed out on automatic qualification through AFC

Funnily enough, the group in 2018 was France, Denmark, Australia and Peru! So whoever won the play-off had the same situation in front of them.
Navas has to be the only reason Costa Rica are so high in the FIFA rankings!!
All 32-teams now confirmed, doubt either Costa Rica or Australia will get very far watching them these two days
