    How many of these Ukraine players haven't been playing? I know there's a couple but I would've thought most were playing in other leagues that finished in the last couple of weeks?

    6 of the starting 11 + 3 of the 4 subs used play their club football in Ukraine.

    9 of the 15 players that have played for Ukraine tonight play in the Ukrainian league and thus haven’t played a competitive match for three months.

    Zinchenko has been different class. Every time he gets the ball he just calms things down, so relaxed on the ball, amazing footwork too.

    Very well deserved by Ukraine. They were the best team and, even without the emotion of everything else that’s going on, deserved it based on their performance. We were very, very poor and don’t deserve to play in a World Cup.
