This is the key week coming up. All football from any realistic targets will have finished and TS should definitely have had enough time. If by this time next week, nothing has happened then I think there’s cause for doubt. 👍2 -
Don't know what is, but I'm anticipating that Beale will Tweet again, I'm just not sure where, or even when, but I'm sure He'll Tweet again, some sunny day!Airman Brown said:What’s the badge on the kit Beale and his mate are wearing. It’s not CAFC. Could be Junior Reds?8 -

Could be Junior Reds, maybe one of the questions in his first interview...

Is that a cryptic clue that Beale is going to Dover in the National League South

All I know is that I know nothing! I'm not ITK and confused as to what sort of appointment we're looking to make. A manager who has a say over incomings and has L1 promotion experience, or a promising Head coach who's happy to work with what he's given , which might be seen as more of a gamble. Hopefully we'll soon know. FWIW, my hunch is it won't be Beale, which should seal the deal & he'll be announced tomorrow 😉soapboxsam said:swordfish said:

I think if Beale has ever been interested, any confirmation i wouldn’t have expected until after todays fixtures. Which is my guess we’ve heard nothing, if it’s not him then I’m stumped and it proves I don’t have a clue!!!🤣1

Here's another Dane we have heard of...
I'll settle for the gluten free version.0 -
If it is Beale then he needs at least two or three seasons to get us out of this league before anyone questions him. I like the fact he has a Charlton connection but he has had a very interesting football journey since then.
In my view it is a shame JJ hadn't been in the Afc Wombles job for a couple of years before getting an opportunity with us. It is difficult to transition as a player to coaching and sometimes it may be better that this is done at another club because team mates need to view him differently.6 -

Todays Telegraph. Villa confident Beale will stay

Here’s a rumour saying the opposite.1

The Telegraph or another Charlton (ITTV) forum? Who would you put your pound note on being closer to the truth?Scoham said:Here’s a rumour saying the opposite.

Thomas Sandgaard said he was looking to be more ambitious than Michael Beale the first time around so how does rubbish like this get recycled. Only an apology from Thomas and a guaranteed contract of 3 years would make him go from assistant coach at Premier Villa to the quick turnover of managers at Cafc.
Not digging you out Scoham as you do a lot of good research on CL.0 -
So your saying the next 48 hours are cruci… oh I give up0

Another cases of two different stories being put together and getting a third. Two half truths added together to make something completely different.Scoham said:Here’s a rumour saying the opposite.1 -

The guy next to Beale is Aaron Day. Same youth team at CAFC. A relative of mine13

We (or particularly TS) can’t afford to stay in league 1 three years. If the recruitment is right there’s no reason we can’t go up and we shouldn’t happy progressing a couple of places each year.Richard J said:If it is Beale then he needs at least two or three seasons to get us out of this league before anyone questions him. Exactly, if we are still in this division in 24/25 Thomas will be about 50 million in the brown.cafcfan1990 said:

I think it fair to say if we are still in this division in 24/25 TS will be a thing of the past by then, not sure he has the clout to hang here for a number of years unless a few of the golden generation turns out to be exactly that and we cash some of them inCafc43v3r said:

Every time I've heard people say it's poor planning that we didn't have someone lined up before Jackson's sacking, I've thought to myself that many people would complain it was a disgrace to have done it behind Jackson’s back. And here we are, a baseless rumour saying that we had and there's uproar.Scoham said:Here’s a rumour saying the opposite.
We are at the stage where the man bankrolling our existence is getting pelters no matter what he does.27 -
How many are you going to have to sell to raise that sort of cash?AndyG said:

I’m guessing either Taylor is on holiday and they are waiting for him to return for the photo shoot or, out of respect to the Prem league title race, they are waiting for todays fixtures to be completed before8 discussions with Beale.0
