What will happen to the european places if City/Liverpool win UCL, West Ham win Europa and Leicester win the conference? Could you end up with the team in 8th in Europe ie if Newcastle make up another place?
No, the lowest place you can finish in the league and get into Europe is 7th.

If 3 English teams win the European trophies then next season it will mean:

CL - Top 4 plus West Ham
    Europa - 5th & 6th plus Leicester
Conference league - No one (assuming west ham finish outside the top 6)
  • Some going from Spurs chasing 4th spot, to not have a single shot on target against Brighton and Brentford.

But what if West Ham or Leicester finish 7th. I’m led to believe we must have a conference league representative.

Apparently it’s possible (although extremely unlikely) that 9 teams qualify for Europe from England next season.

While only a maximum of 7 places are available from league positions because UEFA cup competition winners get spots it gets a bit more complicated

Nah, Spain didn’t have a team in the conference league this year.
After Villareals win in the Europa League.
  • If you're a big club, you hope Arsenal miss out on top 4.

Then you spend the entire summer offering Saka the world to come to you. The kid is going to be one of the best players in the world. Might already be one.
They are starting to have a good young side, smart targeting promising 22, 23 year olds rather than more of the Luiz, Willian, Soares types.

Linked with Gabriel Jesus too, who is still only 25.

  • "Newcastle will become the first premier league team to stay up after failing to win any of their first 14 games".

Their first win this season wasn't until they beat Burnley on 4 December.

Bayern have won 10 consecutive German titles, PSG 8 out of the last 10 French titles

    How boring must that be

I love it when they miss the penalty using those poxy run ups

I wonder if Jorginho caught sight of Fabianski pretending to collapse his left leg as if he was diving that way?
  • Maybe sacking Dyche wasn't such a bad idea after all.

I can’t think of another manager (apart from Pardew) that I detest more than Tuchel. Honestly, I just want to punch the TV when I see him.

Controversial I know, but there is no way you would leave him near kids.

    Wow

I was fuming when Burnley sacked Dyche, but what a response with 7 out of 9 points.

Only 2 points behind Leeds now, who are most definitely not safe

Penalty was even better with the commentator saying 'if you ever wanted a better player to be taking a match winning penalty then it's Jorginho'.

neville then adds that he's scored nine penalties this season, my thoughts were he's no Yoni Buyens.

Nah, you are so right. He is so much better than Mings.

If Everton win today, and Leeds win tomorrow

Palace are down to six points in front...

What an atmosphere there will be at Anfield if Liverpool beat Everton...

Why did we have a split screen to show the players arriving at Anfield? No doubt w'll have to listen YNWA before the game.

Would be great if Leeds went down. Phillips and Raphina would be off.

Wont be surprised if they lose them anyway - Phillips would be an ideal option for Man Utd, as they're not going to be able to attract Bellingham or Rice

Means they would have to lose to Palace tomorrow and we don't want that.
  • Defeatist attitude from fat frank. I don’t think even the most devout evertonion thinks they will get anything out of this but what even is the point turning up if “anything better than a defeat is just a bonus”. Or has he forgotten they are in a relegation battle?
