Impossible to dislike Leclerc at the moment5

Good race that. Good drive from Verstappen ran all the way by Leclerc. Another good title fight brewing there, 100% team Leclerc over here, seems a genuinely likeable chap.Verstappen has bitched and moaned his way through the first two races. It’s what racing drivers do of course if they think it can in anyway gain them an advantage, but just pointing out for all those Verstappen fans who like to characterize Hamilton as some kind of cry baby.5

Its a shame as SKY showed a recorded interview with Verstappen and its difficult not to like him, or agree with what he was saying - He then steps in the car, comes over the radio... And I remember exactly why I dont like himExiled_Addick said:Good race that. Good drive from Verstappen ran all the way by Leclerc. This was another brillant race. I hope this keeps up for the whole of the season because these new regs have really really produced so far.
Bit disappointed for Checo with the VSC issues taking him out of contention1 -
If there’s a less likeable sportsperson out there, I’m not aware of them. He’s a whiny, whinging twat. Good driver, but horrible attitude.ForeverAddickted said:Great race, good win for Verstappen
God he needs to shut the hell up whinging on the radio10 -
I think leclerc would have got Max if it weren't for the yellow flag. Great racing3

Great race, if Mercedes get their act together and Ferrari don’t fall away we could be in for a very tasty season.1

Horner and Verstappen easily the least likeable duo in sport.lordromford said:

Lots of straights there. 23 races is too many, it's okay if it's tight at the top but if one team starts to dominate then it will be a long season1
-
23 races is too many as it is. Not overly against 3 races in the US , but I just fear for the team personnel with this many rounds and a budget cap to contend with. There's got to be some kind of solution about rotating personnel discussed because this is getting daft.
I'm sure if Abu Dhabi's contract didn't have ironclad guarantees of being the season finale , we'd be finishing in Vegas.1 -
Interesting time of year. Vegas at night in November can be decidedly chilly.0
-
23 races i agree is too many. I don't see an issue with a country the size of the US having more than 1 race, but having 2 in Italy for example i feel is a bit much. I assume they will go back to just one race for 2023?
Obviously Russia is going to drop off the calendar, but we still have China to come back once their covid restrictions are sorted.0 -
F1 on the strip... ooooh. That's got to be worth a trip out there.4

It's things like this that make me wish I was silly rich.0

I've been there at the end of November (my birthday) and it was sunny but chilly during the day - but freezing at night. Think November is the wrong time of year - early October far better...DamoNorthStand said:Interesting time of year. Vegas at night in November can be decidedly chilly.1 -
Yeah exactly. Understand avoiding the summer with melting tracks etc, but I am looking forward to seeing loads of Brits thinking they are off to the desert freezing their tits off in the stand when its 15 degrees (and with no humidity it feels colder) at race start.CafcWest said:

Yes very tempting - my latest trip to Vegas has been planned and cancelled twice in the last two years but this may be something to tie in to next years travel plans. I normally do Vegas in May or September and it's always been very hot - November would be a different experience.JohnBoyUK said:F1 on the strip... ooooh. That's got to be worth a trip out there.1 -
I’m halfway there, just need to sort the rich part out.RedArmySE7 said:It's things like this that make me wish I was silly rich.10 -

This is something I've kinda pondered , one race has to go to make this work , I think Imola has a deal until 2025 so that's not going anywhere. I dearly dearly hope it's not Spa that gets dropped.1 -
Seb Vettel has been able to provide a negative COVID test so will return for Aston Martin in Australia
Bet he cant wait!!1 -
Monaco isn't extended beyond this season is it...0

That Las Vegas track looks a terrible layout. There will be lots of overtaking, but all under DRS. Another street circuit relying on safety cars and scenery to keep it somewhat interesting.

I sincerely hope not. Awful circuit.sam3110 said:Monaco isn't extended beyond this season is it...0 -
Looked it up, expires next year. Spa, Paul Ricard and Mexico expire this yearDaveMehmet said:

Spa and Monaco at least have history
France might be the birth place of the FIA but it cant ever make its mind up over when it wants to be in F1 and where.
If Spa has a repeat of last year, it doesn't stand a chance2 -
Keep Monaco, but switch to go karts for that one race.7

Wouldn't shed any tears for the loss of Paul Ricard. It was built as a test track and feels like one. Seems to have worse traffic issues than Silverstone too.
Mexico will be another one that gets a long extension, great circuit and big home support for Checo makes it a solid one to stay.
Spa just needs a clean dry race and it will stay , looks like they've spent the winter doing a lot of remodelling to avoid the big accidents at Eau Rouge like Anthoine Hubert's .0 -
15 minutes into Q1 and Latifi has spun off on one lap and crashed on another. Although the crash was Stroll's fault for clearly not looking and turning into Latifi's rear wheel.6
