then someone has to figure out how to make the most of the players with tactics, options and formation and buy based on that, rather than just talking to palace and birmingham and taking their scrapings.
Time for some back room changes, club management and structure changes and playing staff changes. Coaching needs a look too.

I don’t see how seeing how someone goes is an option anymore, we aren’t an experiment with time to see what happens, we need to see progress and challenge for promotion, I don’t think JJ has the ability to make this happen at the moment. He is sticking with something that hasn’t worked for weeks and is continuing with it, sometimes admitting you are wrong can be a strength not just a weakness.
What you need in League One is pragmatism. You can get away without it at the top of the game but a manager who has a preferred system in league one is a liability. You look at what you have and find what works best with that. Accrington are a good example of that.
Those first handful of games Jackson took over where we won with 3-5-2 have almost become a curse, because it convinced him that it was the only way to play.
I suspect that he's tried to convince Sandgaard and the recruitment team that we need to recruit for and play this formation next season, so he can't really change it now. He's in a tight spot.

We're winless and have been shit for 7 games. Jacko is probably guilty of many things, but I can't see how calling out the players for a gutless, brain dead and inept display can be one them. Say what you want about the formation and tactics, I didn't agree with Fraser and Lee in the midfield or Clare at rwb, but look at our defending for their winning goal.. It's mental from the players, we're supposed to have 3 cb's and they've all either gone missing or been bullied, even that's forgetting wing-backs who should at least be on the scene and covering. You can bash tactics and training but surely it's commen sense for a professional footballer?
I still don't know if Jackson is the answer or not, I just can't work out how it's all gone so tits up since his appointment. There'd have been outrage if he hadn't got the job when he did, even at the time some of us saw it as an insult it took so long.
Maybe this makes me a Jacko apologist, but I don't trust half these players as far as I could throw them, they've played many different formations for different managers and been useless. A pretty miserable season but by far and away the most depressing thing for me is fans calling for Jacko's head like he's someone that's been in the door 5 minutes.
The guy is an absolute stalwart of this club taking his first steps in management. Some of the stuff posted on here is genuinely embarrising too read. I always considered our fan base a bit different from other clubs who seem to love discarding managers after a handful of games but it seems we have gone that way as well.
No doubt if he does get the sack the same fans saying he needs sacking will be the ones posting lengthy tributes on here.

After they went down to 10 men, you genuinely wouldn’t have noticed it. We didn’t have a shot on goal from what I recall.
These players are a disgrace, and they deserve the pelters they are getting for churning out performances like that every week. I’ve long been of the opinion that the team should always get 100% support each week, but they don’t deserve the effort these 400 or so fans made today to go and put up with that.
I don’t think anyone is saying it’s all Jackson’s fault, but the fact we are getting worse (after Jackson brought in an additional coach he wanted), and the same glaring deficiencies are being exploited week in week out, means that he is nowhere near blameless in this.
For sure he’s not been helped by a wonky recruitment process which means we are short of quality, alongside a group of players who don’t fit into the system he wants to play.
But not being able to even break down a team with 10 men to the extent that we could have a shot on goal, when we had 70% of the possession is criminally bad. And for me that’s not down to professionalism or players caring, that’s down to poor coaching.

Birmingham are 19th in the Championship. They finished 18th last year. I think there's a lot of evidence to cite as Jacko being lacking as a coach. But I don't know that how Bowyer is getting in at Brum is one of them.
So many of them have been poor but one of the standout piles of horse crap this season is Leko. Useless.

You would have to see how any new manager “goes’ with what he’s got, and if the structure, back room, recruiting doesn’t change htf is anyone supposed to achieve unrealistic expectations. JJ is probably achieving the possible with a bunch of players that are basically 12-16th standard.

It is exactly what you have to do with a new manager, and no new manager makes the existing back room and current playing staff any better without change. Keep changing the manager is basically just doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
We have time, we are 3rd quartile, 3rd division team and there is nothing at the the club currently that will change with an in solus manager change. If a new manager has to come in, all the other stuff I mentioned also needs to happen. And if you honestly believe the current set up sans Jackson will change this team from a 3rd quartile to a first octile performing side pushing for promotion, then the most obvious change to make is expectations, not the manager. That would reduce the angst, introduce some reality and perhaps highlight the deeper issues in the corporate structure, player acquisition and team performance that any new manager would still be saddled with
