Very early announcement. I wonder if we will get the new Castore(?) shirts earlier this year
5 years is a very long deal. I wonder if there are break clauses if in year 3 we're in the Premier League or indeed the National League!5 -
We'll be trying to sell the shirts in Leatherhead & Enfield to start with and see how we get onkillerandflash said:Very early announcement. I wonder if we will get the new Castore(?) shirts earlier this year

Five years of guaranteed shirt sponsor income ✅
Not a betting company ✅
Happy with that.53 -
Agreed, good it's done early too.Callumcafc said:Five years of guaranteed shirt sponsor income ✅

Guaranteed? After Llanera and All Sports let’s not count our chickens just yet.Callumcafc said:Five years of guaranteed shirt sponsor income ✅

They seem one of the bigger sponsors we've had over the years. Hopefully their shirt logo isn't green, although I'd take some green on the away kit.3

Bit of a risk.7

Maybe I’m reading this wrong but I don’t think they’re the official “shirt sponsor” are they? Just sounds like a “partner” that’ll have a small piece of the action on the shirt.0

You are technically correct in that there is a non zero chance this company goes bust before 2027 but somehow I don't see it.shirty5 said:

From the article on the OS. Does leave the door open for a different sponsor for the away/third shirt.0 -

Quite a lot of clubs have more than one sponsors logo on the front of their shirt. Look at the French teams. I’m sure I’m reading more I to it than there is but the emphasis on “sustainability partner” rather than shirt or club sponsor raises the question.Callumcafc said:

I've never heard of them but not my field and part of the point of shirt sponsorship is to increase brand awareness so that is working already.
British, not a betting company, saving the planet, some synergy with the club, long term and done early. Rumours were that the money is very good too and I assume that if we do climb the leagues so will their spend.
Well done Wayne Mumford.41 -
God I hope we don't end up with Shirts like they do in France, or the dogs dinner which are Rugby kits now.

I wouldn't worry about that. The FA have banned having more than one sponsor on the front of your shirt.stop_shouting said:

Five years! Fantastic to secure that. Not exactly an air conditioning company either. Well done TS and Mumford.0

Are they paying 8 million a year?0

5 year partnership but doesn’t say shirt sponsor beyond next season.Expecting beers to be drunk from paper cups and toilet traps to be replaced with compost buckets.
anyhow, sounds a good deal5 -
Big shout (and sympathy) to @Swisdom ‘s old man for lumping out through what’s proved to be two very disappointing seasons

'RSK supports clients in multiple sectors including many of those most critical to future global sustainability such as water, energy, food and drink, infrastructure, urban development, mining and waste. With experts in over 150 different environmental and engineering disciplines, RSK prides itself on the ability to deliver end-to-end solutions to some of the great challenges of our time.'
Some good news at last. That's a partnership to feel proud of as a Charlton fan.8 -
I expect the local schools will be excited at the prospect of receiving hundreds of free shirts to entice the children to become Charlton fans. Maybe one per free ticket?0
