6 of us on the 9:02 from St Pancras, including an old Wednesday-supporting uni mate that I’ve known since the late 70s. We’ve been going to Wednesday/Charlton games together for over40 years and it’s never just (or even primarily) been about the football. On the contrary, it’s always a great day out, often punctuated by 90 odd minutes of mediocrity.
The train is due in at 10:58, so we should be in the Sheffield Tap for opening time and, thereafter, in The Fat Cat for more beer and lunch at noon. They’ll also be time for a visit to The Kelham Island Tavern post-match.5 -

Done the Fat Cat & now in the Tavern. All good, the Fat Cat was really good + chatting to a couple of Sheffield United fans (they have Millwall away today, so a Charlton/United double was agreed upon as a benefit to humanity!)ElfsborgAddick said:
