Fund raising for CACT.

I’ve been accepted into the Ride London 100 on 29 May.

This involves an overweight cyclist having to gear up from my current best of 20 miles or so a day (with several breaks for coffee) to riding 100 miles in a day.

Please let something good come out of it by sponsoring me to support the fantastic Charlton Athletic Community Trust. Using the link below.

Many thanks.

  • Shameless bump.

If you feel the CACT do a good job, as I do, in presenting the best of Charlton and it’s fans please find it in your heart to support my ride. Any amount no matter how small will be gratefully received and will make a difference to those the Community Trust reach out to.

    Well done Iain.

CACT do incredible work across the community, some things people just will never see or know and we aren’t there to stick it in people’s faces. CACT go about their work in a way that puts the participants, their families, and wider community first.

Watch out for the annual Charlton Upbeats Walk in a couple of months too.

In the meantime, good luck and well done.
  • Donated. Good luck Iain. Don’t suppose you have a relative called Drummond who played for Dumbarton in the 70s?
  • Thanks to those who donated, much appreciated.
I’m not aware of any relatives that played for Dumbarton @addickson I’ll certainly check.
  •   @iainment only played twice for our first team, but a memorable name and hairstyle!!

  • Just a reminder if anyone wants to support Charlton’s Community Trust you can sponsor my ride on the London Essex 100.

    Many thanks.
  • A huge thank you to all who’ve donated so far.
  • Good luck!

    Thanks.
  • Just bumping this up.

I have started my schedule for getting to the 100 miles and managed a slow 30 yesterday. My problems being that I’m quite unfit and as it stands too slow to get round in the allotted time.

I will will be working on both these and hope you have it in you to make a sponsorship donation to help the wonderful work the Community Trust carries out. Any amount no matter how small will be gratefully received.

Thanks for your great fundraising efforts so far and everyone who's donated towards your total. Good luck with your training schedule!
  • So, I’m struggling. Been I’ll for a bit and nowhere near where I feel I need to be.

But please sponsor to help the wonderful work CACT do. It’s a great reflection on the club and you as a fan.

  • Just a reminder to help raise funds for CACT.
They do wonderful things for the community and reflect so well on Charlton and it’s fans.
Even if you can only afford £1 please give.
    Thank you.
