It’s frustrating spending so much effort trying to get “big” players in through the door and ultimately ending up with plan b, c or d.
Why try for Toney, we get Hemed.
We try for Fraser in the summer, we get Lee.We try for Szmodics, welcome Mcbride! (I know he’s not joining).I’m sure there are plenty of others that I’m not aware of. It’s not like we don’t have the money, it just seems we’re sometimes a yard slower than the other “big” League One clubs.1 -
