(not so) serious scam warning

edited January 2022 in Fun, Jokes & Captions
I'm not usually one for posting warnings about potential scams but I had
a close miss today.

I walked into B&Q at lunchtime and some old guy dressed in orange asked
me if I wanted decking.

Fortunately, I got the first punch in and that
was the end of that.

Those less suspecting might not be so lucky

There's a bunch of c*nts imitating Google and it's a very detailed scam.

The 1st thought when seeing it is...it must be bullshit, but it is reasonably detailed and can easily be fallen for.

Whoever it is...is good at imitating. It knew what phone I've got and what network I use. Has access to that data somehow.

Obviously, it is pretty clear what's going on when it asks for bank details.

I closed it off and found the warnings.

My phone has never been in a vulnerable state like that before. It was surprising and very alarming. I was simply just on a golf manufacturing website.
It wasn't a pop up via filth or a gambling site etc.
    Just normal stuff.

    I didn't see that.

Maybe alter it to "fun, jokes plus a Dave's warning"
