My 11 year old has been saving up and wants to buy a laptop for gaming on. 

Mainly plays the like of fortnite and fifa on switch and PC. 

any recommendations for a decent laptop in the 500 quid range that are good for gaming in addition to just doing homework on ?

    I think you'd struggle to find a dedicated gaming laptop for £500 unfortunately. You'd get more bang for your buck if you got a desktop PC if you have the room

    Decent Graphics card for a Gaming PC / Laptop is going to cost you around £200-£500 alone
