Currently taking a bowel movement break from the new series of Cobra Kai. Like all the others its a lot of fun, definitely doesn't take itself too seriously and gets the nostalgia all right
I feel like a right idiot watching it as I usually have a big smile of my face. Its so OTT but as you say they seem to get it just right. Having Terry Silver back was brilliant

2 episodes into the Tourist, intriguing but not blown away so far
Just finished watching episode 3, worth sticking with it.

Watched all 3 episodes of Four Lives.
A tough watch seeing the complete negligence of the police force. And a slap in the face at the end to top it off.

RIP to the victims who deserved so much better.

Watched the first episode of The Tourist and I like the plot, even though the American bloke seems a cheesy villain in the making.

Is it worth carrying on? Sick and tired on BBC and ITV bringing out dramas only to be totally let down in the end.

Nearly finished Maid. Really didn't think it was my sort of thing but it's really good.
The lead actress is excellent but Andy Macdowell as her eccentric bi-polar mum really steals the show.

I'm only up to Ep3 but still enjoying it and looking forward to seeing where it goes. Got some quirky characters in that I like.

I thought the acting was really good and loved the characters - binge watched the last 4 episodes.

Book of Boba Fett has just sated my appetite for all things star wars related that Disney plus can throw at me

Really love the way they have expanded the universe in this and especially the Mandalorian

Thought the first episode was a bit slow and I'm not sure about the lead actor

Just finished Stay Close, the latest Harlan Coben 8 part series on Netflix. Contains James Nesbitt, Jo Joyner, Richard Armitage and Sarah Parish. I wasn't convinced by the main female character. A good watch imo.

I also enjoyed the film Don't Look Up and Death to 2021.
Watched it over the last two nights, very good

Really is excellent. It wasn’t until I finished the series that I discovered that the lead actress is Macdowell’s real life daughter !

    4 episodes into The Tourist

Quite enjoying it, a nice easy watch and Luci is very easy on the eye - didn't recognise her as being from Our Girl

No one has mentioned "Anne" on ITV. Yet it's all over my Twitter feed, huge plaudits for Maxine Peake in the title role. I guess people are avoiding it because they know it will be a tough watch. I'll have to take a deep breath myself, I still have a copy of "Hillsborough -never Forgotten" saved to remind me how furious and drained it left me. Hope ITV Hub works for me so I can watch it - I find it the worst streaming hub of any I use.

She was the newer woman in the last series of Line of Duty too, the one who did all the work while Steve worried about drugs tests and Ted scowled at people over a bannister.

Can't say the first 2 episodes have done much for me. The Mandalorian improved as it went on son hopefully this does the same

Hillsborough fatigue - had enough misery porn, we all know the story and there have been others dramas based on it already.

His stupid shiny dentures shone their way through the desert and he can’t keep his hat on for 5-minutes and his black “under suit” because he’s much fatter than old Jeremy was (RIP) are making this look like an expensive flop to me…..

Enjoyed ep 1 but was a bit short, thought ep 2 was better again, at least partly because it was nearly a full hour instead of 30 minutes. Interested to see where its going!

Yeah, I didn’t recognise her in that either.

I have recorded 'Anne' and will probably watch at the weekend, as have been watching Four Lives this week.

Four Lives and a subsequent documentary on the police failings in catching Stephen Port made me so angry. I'm sure I'll be feeling the same after watching Anne.

I do understand that take - it was my first instinct when I read about it. But I gave it a go last night, just e1 so far, and it is every bit as good as they are saying.

And they still have not seen justice, have they? Which is the best reason to watch.
