Assuming this happened between 2014 and 2020, if A can see two hats the same colour he will shout out that colour and be wrong on purpose. Presumably that's his CAFC badge, and he'd rather be kept away from football.0

this is only true if the qm intentionally opened the door knowing there was a pound coin behind it. we don't know whether that is the case here or whether he opened a random door which happened to be one of those with a pound in which case it's 50/50. In the original monty hall problem a door with a goat is always intentionally opened, we don't have that info here thoughChizz said:

He probably doesn't though.
even so switching is still the right move because at worst it's 50/500 -

even so switching is still the right move because at worst it's 50/50For the quiz to work it has to be intentional.If it is random then if the car is revealed the game is over. If a goat is randomly exposed then the contestant must switch as it gives double the chance of winning the car.0
