Interesting. If I was a Blues fan I would be fuming at the lack of penalties for other Championship clubs

Wait until the season has finished, then give them enough of a deduction to be one place below us

If they are guilty of course, rules are rules.  No bias or self-interest at all. Ok maybe a little : - )

Of course they will not....these things only happen to Charlton!

Looking at the evidence it would be hard on them if they were deducted points. Being forced to sell their best players yet under a transfer embargo meaning they could not replace them.

If it happened here this site would go in to melt down.

Go take advantage and sign that young kid Bellingham

Birmingham City sold St Andrew's to a company controlled by owner Paul Suen Cho Hung for £22.8m to bring pre-tax losses down to £8.4m last season.
Financial details came a day after news that Blues could face another points deduction for breaching spending rules.

Wait till VAR arrives, everyone will be getting penalties.

Birmingham City vs the EFL part III. The EFL has appealed after Birmingham's charge of breaching financial rules was dismissed last month.

Thanks @joshaddick. Paywalled on the Telegraph site but from following the link through to the back story it appears there's only a max of 3 points at stake, still a potentially significant number of points in any normal circumstances of course. (Would normally be hoping for around 10 points given our current indicative league position)

More interesting perhaps is that the EFL  and courts are undertaking regular 'business' in these times.

No news yet of Derby or Sheff Wed....?  Seeing as there is no actual football going on you'd think these cases would have been sorted by now......or are the EFL waiting to see if the season is going to continue & if not deduct the points next season instead  ?

    Mmm you have to wonder.

The Price Of Football podcast says that the charges against individuals (including Meire) have been successfully appealed against, which maybe a pre cursor to the club successfully beating the charges.

Birmingham City have new landlords at Trillion Trophy St Andrew's, following the sale of the majority 75% share by the stadium's owners.

The new majority owners are Achiever Global Group Ltd, a British Virgin Islands property company.

Blues can bank £10.8m, but are now committed to paying back £1.25m a year in rent to lease the ground until 2031.

Birmingham Sports Holdings has told the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it is to sell their share.

Sounds grim. Especially after the problems their near neighbours and tenants for the last 2 seasons Coventry have had, due to the separation from their ground

Yes by the time the lease is up Coventry may have a new ground and Birmingham can be their tenants.

I liked the bit in this article that stated " Blues are currently 21st in the Championship in real danger of PROMOTION back to English football's 3rd tier for the first time since 1994" !

    This really tickled Fanny..:-)

Birmingham City director Edward Zheng says the club are "hugely frustrated" by the continued closure of the Kop and Tilton stands at St Andrew's.

They will remain shut for their next two Championship games, against Stoke and Bournemouth, due to "the discovery of further necessary repair work".

Affected season ticket holders will enter a ballot for remaining seats.

9 month closure of 2 stands. Must be a significant repair job required.

    Bowyer will improve the stands.
The fans in those stands are going to be in the firing line when Birmingham get their first home defeat.
