At this level every player will have certain limitations.
My view is that at this level a manager gets the best out of a team by giving each player the responsibility to do the job they do well and not a job beyond their skill set. This must help a player to play with confidence and prevent him hiding, frightened to make a mistake.
I'm guessing Dobson will have the specific role of stopping the opposition having the ball, everything else he adds to his game will be a bonus. Sunderland it seems asked him to take on a more demanding role he wasn't suited to.
I liked the fact he came to life when talking about needing to prove some people wrong - shows NA is looking for hungry young players.
