Good video. It’s very accurate when he overlaid that model. However, and it’s in complete contrast to that message Kent put up y’day about how y’day’s nonsense was also orchestrated, and things will be on a quick upward curve.CAFCsayer said:

in the short time I’ve been in crypto, personally, I’ve heard what I want to hear. Not intentionally, but you see it go up, and then you go on Twitter etc and see ‘to the moon’, your brain is probably more receptive to that than the thing you’ve just posted.1 -
To be clear, what cafcsayer posted is almost certainly what I think will happen. Market structure isn’t good.cabbles said:

Absolutely. I was just highlighting how on the one hand you post something very accurate, almost the exact point the price btc went down too, but there is a rebound, whereas the above states it’s about to drop considerably. I would be more inclined to agree with what cafc sayer has posted, just highlighting how much of head spin this all is with diff bits of info etckentaddick said:

When you think about it, the retail traders are completely pissing in the wind against the institutional traders' whims. If you look 'Whale alert' twitter account, you see 10's of millions of dollars being moved about every 10 minutes or so. You could add up all the bitcoin traders across all the online communities like reddit and whatnot, and they would barely put a dent in what one of these whales does.CAFCsayer said:

These whales are either miners or people who bought bitcoin when it was pennies and held. Either way they’re perfectly entitled to be whales.balham red said:

Think 5 years. In 5 years the stocks you own will probably be higher, in 5 years the crypto you own will probably be 5-10x higher than if you bought the very top at this cycle.balham red said:

I'm sure that Bitcoin is going to go up in the long run and should be a lot more stable after a few more halving cycles1

Yep, the window of opportunity is relatively small. It’s definitely in a macro uptrend, no matter where you buy, in 5 years your investment will be far higher.jacob_CAFC said:I'm sure that Bitcoin is going to go up in the long run and should be a lot more stable after a few more halving cycles0 -

If you got a bonus from work (spare cash) this week, would you put in all in crypto or bank , mixture, or neither?

No. On/off ramps to fiat like Exchanges generally are though, so if there’s anything dodgy going on it’s easy to trace to some one.PopIcon said:Is crypto regulated?0 -

I’ve started following those Whale alerts tweets. The replies are quite funny as there seems to be a lot of contention as to people being unable to work out when someone is dumping/selling versus buying2
-
Is there a liquidity crisis in the Sates???
The Fed are buying back Corporate & US Treasury bonds in line with QE to reduce the printing of money which could result in a major sell-off of Crypto and Equities being just around the corner.
This will continue as they need to stave off inflation. Reverse Repo Purchases hit $351Billion yesterday and has been rising steeply over the past couple of weeks and easing the money supply will result in liquidity drying up; Banks and in turn hedge funds have no doubt been over leveraging themselves. The next couple of weeks should be "interesting" as those same banks and hedge funds may be forced to sell off their assets to remain liquid.0 -
The quantity of money going in and out is truly staggering.cabbles said:I’ve started following those Whale alerts tweets. The replies are quite funny as there seems to be a lot of contention as to people being unable to work out when someone is dumping/selling versus buying0 -
Crypto into Binance/coinbase/exchanges means they’re selling, stablecoin into exchanges or crypto out of exchanges means they’ve bought.cabbles said:I’ve started following those Whale alerts tweets. On this point, when does a Crypto become too big to be allowed to fail. When a man is in debt is his problem, when a country is in debt it's a world problem. The scale of crypto investment is collosal, thus the number of interested parties must surely be a concern for governments.balham red said:
